Where are we, and how did you two end up here of all places?

We are in my turn-of-the-century 3BR apartment on the Gågatan in Malmö. I live here with my partner Johannes and our staff puppy Beppe. We ended up here because it was time to get something bigger together and this is our dream apartment.

Which colours have you chosen and what made you stick with them?

We chose 34 - Antique in the living room, because it is so perfectly creamy in colour and not too white. In the bedroom, we chose 48 - Radiance, which is a nice yellow colour and it turned out so well. Our bedroom is so bright and lovely. In the hall and kitchen we chose 40 - Oasis and 2 - Mourning Dove. The hall and the kitchen are next to each other and I thought that those colours worked well with all the other colours in the apartment. We have 40 - Oasis in the hall, which is a little darker than 2 - Mourning Dove. Mourning Dove ended up on the walls in the kitchen and it turned out so neat and appropriate.

Since I love colour in interior design, I thought it was good to break away from these colours in the hall and kitchen. In what will become my atelier/studio, I used 60 - Fiji, which is a clear blue colour. We selected lots of different colours on the colour swatches that we moved around the entire apartment before deciding.

Describe yourself in one sentence!

I would describe myself as a driven creative soul.

What was your thinking behind the colour scheme in your home?

I thought I would make up for all those white homes I had before. So we wanted a lot of colour then maybe I banged out a little but it's not too late for more colour yet. The best thing about paint is that you just can just paint over it if you regret it later.

What do you like most about your home?

The space in the whole apartment, it has very high ceilings. Love our bay window, stucco and ceiling rosettes.

Describe your interior design style in three words

Imperfect, personal and creative.

What were you most satisfied with?

The bedroom I would say, love our yellow bedroom.

Do you have any tips for someone who wants to repaint?

I don't know if you want to take tips from me, as I'm a very careless person but look how well I fixed this. Okay, one tip is to order lots of colour swatches of the colours you like and move them around and let them sit so you can see in different lights. When you have decided on the colours, click home a paint kit, there is everything you need to succeed, then you just start. Painting is easy if you ask me.

What would be your favorite colour from the Klints colour palette if you had to choose just one?

ONLY ONE? I've seen all the new nice colours that I'm so excited to try. Need more rooms haha, but I would say 48 - Radiance.
