We are now welcomed into the home of Filippa, her partner Klas, and their adorable dachshund Tage, in the heart of Stockholm. With paintbrushes in hand, they’ve brought new life to each room, and now we get to glimpse the fantastic result.

Where are we, and how did you end up here of all places?

We are at home with me, my partner Klas and our dachshund Tage, in Vasastan in Stockholm. We went to many apartment viewings but fell in love with the location and the floor plan of this apartment.

What do you like most about your home?

I love our apartment, but what I like most is probably the magical ceiling height and our built-in bookshelf in the dining room.

How did you think about the colour scheme of your home?

When we moved in, the walls were painted in very dark colours. Since we only live half a floor up and don't get maximum sunlight, we knew we wanted a light colour on the walls. Beige is a perfect option when you don't want white.

What colours have you chosen, what made you decide on them?

51 — Biscotti and 43 — Serenity. We were looking for a nice beige colour for our walls, we ordered home the swatch kit with Klint's all beige colours. These samples are so clever! We tested around the different rooms and settled on Biscotti, a slightly warmer beige colour that is extra perfect in our bedroom which is north facing. Then we used Serenity on the skirting boards in the bedroom to bring in some colour. It's a wonderful green colour that makes the whole bedroom feel harmonious.

What were you most pleased with?

The skirting boards in the bedroom! I can't wait to paint them in the rest of the apartment too.

Describe your interior style in three words.

Personal, Scandinavian and cozy.

Do you have any tips for someone who wants to repaint?

My tip is to dare to paint carpentry in a colour other than white! The great thing about paint is that you can always change your mind if you want to try something new!

And last but not least, what would be your favorite colour from the Klints colour palette if you had to choose only one?

So hard! But I'd have to say 43 — Serenity, a perfect grey-green colour!
