Where are we and how did you end up here?

We are in our apartment in Åre/Tegefjäll. I chose this place for its proximity to nature. I spend most of my days outdoors, both for training and creating content, so this felt like the obvious place to create a home. I love being able to leave the apartment and be on the ski slopes in just a few minutes!

What do you like most about your home?

This might sound crazy to others, but before we moved here, we didn't have sunlight in the apartment between November and February. Now, we have a large window facing the mountain where the sun shines in for at least an hour, and the mountain becomes like a painting. But the reason we bought it is probably the floor plan and that it has slightly higher ceilings than usual here in Åre.

How did you think about the colour of your home?

It absolutely cannot be too cold in terms of colours. The winter outdoors and the blue light make everything feel cold, and I want to create a personal, stylish, and warm apartment. I want people to step away from the cold outdoors and be able to curl up on the couch and feel warmth.

What colours have you chosen, and what made you stick with them?

We are just starting to make the apartment ours, but the wall color is a perfect base to build on. We wanted a beige that didn't lean towards gray. We tried many shades with samples, but we saw that 40 - Oasis became the perfect hue in contrast to the cooler light. Our bedroom is entirely painted in 110 - Idyllic, like a forest glade that changes colour incredibly depending on the outdoor light, but in a perfectly warm way.

What are you most satisfied with?

That we painted the wardrobe doors and walls in the same colour!

Do you have any tips for someone who wants to repaint?

It really wasn't that difficult, you just have to use a bit too much paint and paint quickly, then it won't be blotchy!

And last but not least, what would be your favorite colour from the Klints colour palette if you had to choose just one?

I would probably choose 40 - Oasis, it's truly incredible, and I would want to paint everything white in that colour instead!
