Protect floors, walls and furniture against spills with plastic sheeting
Wipe the ceiling down with soap and water if it’s noticeably dirty
Spackle and sand any holes or uneven areas until the ceiling surface is smooth(Klint spackling paste is coming soon!)
Edge the part of the ceiling that borders the wall (incl. any ceiling mouldings) with a large paint brush
Soak the Large Roller in paint in the deep end of the tray and roll it a few times in the shallow end to distribute the paint evenly. The roller should be soaked in paint without dripping.
Run the roller from one corner straight across to the other side of the room, paint about 2–3 roller widths, then another 2–3 widths in the opposite direction. For best results, try painting from east to west.
Continue until the whole ceiling has been painted.
Let the paint dry for 4 hrs, then paint a second layer the same way. Place plastic bags over the roller, tray and brush while the paint is drying so they can be used again.
Edging, what is that?
Edging is what we call it when you carefully paint “the outer edges” of a wall before painting the rest of the wall with a roller. You typically edge with a mid-sized roller or paint brush so you can get closer.
